|
Infrastructure Support Analyst, Derby, East Midlands. The primary responsibility of the Infrastructure Support Analyst is to support the Infrastructure environment for contracts that run out of the Derby office. This will include responding to support calls from users, fixing faults, maintain / utilize policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the Diagnosing support calls and Customer databases. Responsibilities include: 3rd line Support entering accurate details into the call Logging System. Being aware of user / business satisfaction wile ensuring users are informed of progress. Performing system changes and enhancements as required following the projects. Assisting in documentation as required and the change control process. Essential skills; Create database objects and maintain their physical organization/relationships. Ensure that the application, and any enhancements, interacts efficiently with the database. Develop and implement database performance monitoring process and analyze monitoring data for performance optimization opportunities. Experience as a Database Administrator for MSSQL or Sybase with solid skills in database performance factors, monitoring tools and tuning procedures. Experience with MS (Windows server and Exchange), Networking DNS, DHCP, WINS etc. ISA Server, MS Active Directory security (Group policy, domain structure admin) Firewalls, creating VPN. |
