SUSE – Fedora NOC Lead 1st Line support & Incident Management; Nr Slough; Required to join global communications company at their 24*7 Network Operation Centre. This is a lead First Line Support role, however you will also take ownership of the incident management process. You must be prepared to do 4days on 4days off, 12 hr shifts rotating day/night. You will take ownership of all incident management activities, tools, process & methodologies, have operational responsibility for delivery of fixes, & manage to SLA. As well as managing & directing incidents, you will also provide 1st line fixes, you will need good Linux skills, ideally SUS or Fedora, exp of ITIL or similar, process monitoring configuration or NOC / Control Centre experience. Any skills with MYSQL or Informix, Network Troubleshooting, firewalls, VPN or VOIP would be highly advantageous. |
