Last updated: 06/01/2009 Firmware Engineer - Essex Back Our client a leading Single Board Computer developer is urgently looking for a firmware engineer you will have excellent skills in embedded C, PL/M or other block-structured high-level languages, preferably for the Intel 80x86 family Diagnostics, bootloader or PC BIOS development Embedded real-time software development VxWorks, QNX or other real-time operating systems Windows or Linux/Unix device drivers or system (kernel level) software A good appreciation of the hardware is a pre-requisite for this role.
