Last updated: 06/01/2009 J2EE Scrum Master for Portal Solutions Back we are looking for a J2EE Scrum Master for Portal Solutions („Web Portal") for our Telco client in Munich. About the Department: The Department is responsible for planning, design and implementation of the Mobile and Web Internet Platforms which includes the internet presence and the WAP-Portal various other services for end customers. Project Objectives (High-level description): As part of the project as a J2EE Scrum Master in the group Web Portal, the contractor will enable the implementation, modification and testing of EJB modules on a JBoss application server as part of a team. In additional, components will be devloped using the abaXX web application. The project will be completed once existing workflows have been implemented against a new backend interface. The task is split into 3 main parallel sub-project groups and several follow-up sub-tasks each with defined delivery dates. Focus and main tasks: • Document and communicate to the project manager the progress and scope/timeline influencing factors (impediments) at pre-defined intervals in the project. • Responsible for further development of the agile software development process • Analyse existing Java based web-applications and modules • Adapt existing and implement new portal specific business logic • Document of existing and new software components and modules according to web portal documentation standards and Scrum processes • Test the developed web-applications Skill-Requirements: • Programming Language Must-haves: • At least 3 years of project experience in the development of J2EE applications. • At least 2 of the following 3: Experience with Springframework or EJB2-3 or Hibernate Must-have: • Scrum Master Certification • In depth knowledge with regard to Continuous Integration, and testing with JUnit and Mockobjects • Experience of development within large projects with heterogenous systems and teams working in parallel. • English and German: Must be fluent in one of the two and be able to use the other on a working level.
