SQL Server DBA - Knaresborough - I require a talented SQL Server DBA to join my client a leading organisation with multiple office locations to work at their office in Knaresborough. You will design and build databases as requested following best practices and in accordance with guidelines and procedures. Provide support to ensure that all databases are maintained to the highest level. Ensure that all critical data is backed up to the relevant media and data restores are tested regularly. Complete audit trail documents. Ensure that installed databases are reviewed from a performance perspective on a regular basis, provide recommendations for improvement. Provide recommendations to ensure that the database infrastructure is continually able to meet client, business and regulatory requirements. Participate in Disaster Recovery exercises, provide databases support as required. Report any DR issues to the relevant departments.
